College Recruitment Coordination
KBM Sports Consulting provides personalized college recruiting coordination to help athletes and families navigate the increasingly complex recruiting process. Services include evaluating players, identifying appropriate college programs, building recruiting strategies, and facilitating communication with college coaches. Athletes receive guidance on creating highlight videos, contacting programs, attending the right showcases, and understanding recruiting timelines and expectations. The focus is on finding the best academic, athletic, and personal fit while giving athletes the tools and strategies they need to advocate for themselves throughout the recruiting journey.
Physical and Mental Performance Development
KBM Sports Consulting helps athletes develop the complete performance profile needed to succeed at the next level. Training focuses on both physical and mental performance, integrating technical soccer development with mental skills such as focus, resilience, confidence, and competitive mindset. Using principles from sport psychology and cognitive neuroscience, athletes learn how to manage pressure, improve decision-making, and build habits that support consistent high performance. The goal is to help players not only improve their skills, but also strengthen the mindset and discipline required to compete at elite levels.
Event Planning and Management
We provide professional event planning and management for soccer programs, clubs, and organizations. From camps and clinics to tournaments, leagues, recruiting showcases, and community events, we design and execute events that create high-quality experiences for athletes and families. Services include event structure and curriculum design, logistics coordination, staffing, sponsorship integration, and on-site management. With extensive experience running successful soccer programs and events, KBM Sports Consulting ensures each event is organized, engaging, and valuable for participants.
Coaching Education
Developing great players starts with developing great coaches. KBM Sports Consulting provides coaching education designed to help coaches improve training methodology, player development, communication, and leadership. Through workshops, on-field sessions, and mentorship, coaches learn how to build engaging training environments, design effective practice sessions, and support the long-term development of their athletes. The approach combines modern sport science, practical coaching experience, and leadership development to help coaches create positive environments where players can grow and perform at their best.
About Us
KBM Sports Consulting is led by Kom Momeni, a veteran soccer coach and sports professional with nearly 30 years of experience developing athletes and building successful programs. Kom has coached at every level of the game—including nationally ranked NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA programs—and was inducted into the Kennesaw State University Marietta Athletics Hall of Fame after leading Southern Polytechnic State University to multiple Top-10 national finishes. Throughout his career, he has helped hundreds of athletes grow as players, leaders, and students of the game.
Beyond coaching, Kom brings extensive experience in business development, sales, and partnerships, giving KBM Sports Consulting a unique ability to advocate for athletes and build strong relationships with college programs. Today, through his work with Rush Union Soccer Club, Clayton State University, Alpharetta High School, and PrepSoccer, he remains deeply connected to the college recruiting landscape.
